Our process
How your custom home comes together
Six steps from the first conversation to move-in day.
The steps
Step 1: Initial consultation
It starts with a conversation about how you live, what you want from your home, where you want to build and what you want to invest.
Tip: Bring photos, floor plans or a list of what you love and don't love about your current home.
Step 2: Lot evaluation
We look at the lot with you: slope, access, views, sun and anything else that affects where and how the home sits.
Tip: Still choosing land? Talk to a builder before you buy. The lot shapes both the design and the cost.
Step 3: Design and plans
Your home is designed around your lot and your priorities, and the plans are refined until they fit both.
Tip: Decide early which rooms matter most to you. It keeps design decisions focused.
Step 4: Selections and pricing
When plans are complete and finishes, fixtures and materials are chosen, pricing can be completed.
Tip: Finish your selections before construction starts to help keep the schedule on track.
Step 5: Construction
Construction begins, from site work and foundation through framing, systems and finishes.
Tip: Walk the site at key milestones, such as framing, while the walls are still open.
Step 6: Final walkthrough and move-in
Before you move in, we walk the finished home with you, room by room.
Tip: Keep a running list of questions for the walkthrough. Nothing is too small to ask.
